The OSONNIA APARTMENT project by MAKHNO Studio has won one of the most prestigious international awards in the field of interior design – the SBID International Design Awards 2024 in the category of “Residential Design”. This exceptional achievement highlights the innovative approach and craftsmanship of Ukrainian designers on the global stage.
The SBID (Society of British and International Interior Design) is one of the most highly regarded international awards in interior design. Established 15 years ago, this award has become a recognized symbol of professional excellence for thousands of design companies from over 100 countries worldwide.
This year, OSONNIA APARTMENT was named the winner in the Eastern European Region. The project, a small yet bright and cozy apartment located in the heart of Kyiv, was particularly significant as it was completed by the design team amidst the full-scale war. Despite the challenges, the designers succeeded in creating a space that radiates peace and harmony in times of uncertainty.
