On October 28, the CEO of MAKHNO Studio, Oleksandr Dymnich, took the stage at LVIV DESIGN DAY 2024.
His presentation, titled “Design Without Borders: The Transformation of Ukrainian Architecture and Interior Design During War Through International Integration,” became one of the event’s key highlights.
In his speech, Oleksandr Dymnich emphasized that Ukrainian design is currently undergoing a period of global transformation and integration. For several years, MAKHNO Studio has been actively promoting Ukrainian culture and design on the world stage, particularly in Europe, the USA, and Asia. His presentation also focused on the importance of international partnerships, which foster new projects and approaches that combine Ukrainian roots with modern global trends.
Oleksandr also participated in panel discussions that addressed the future of architecture and design, their adaptation to the new realities brought about by the war, and the resilience of the creative industry. One of the key messages was that the war has not destroyed the Ukrainian creative industry but has instead opened new opportunities for collaboration and growth on the international stage.
