I like your concrete sickness

Minimalism, eclecticism, loft, primitiveness – concrete matches all. The material behaves differently depending on other decor elements.

“Raw” materials in design today are at the wave of popularity. Many people use concrete in some unexpected ways, with unusual approaches. Ask me to name a thing that is impossible to be made of this material. I will not do it. Concrete is all-purpose.

Paolo Lucidi, Benjamin Hubert, and Tim Mackerodt create conceptual concrete objects. It is hard to produce something like a chair using concrete because of its rough texture and density. It didn’t stop designers from creating extraordinary objects.

Fabric and concrete have found each other in the work of Florian Schmidt. He creates world-known chairs. No secrets in technology: dip the cloth into concrete and wait until it hardens.
