TAKA apartment is a two-storey apartment in one of the bedroom districts of Kyiv that has become the embodiment of contemporary Ukrainian minimalism. .
03
The layout of the apartment is quite simple and functional. On the ground floor, there is a living area combined with a kitchen and a dining room, and behind the hall, there is a guest bedroom. A concrete-wooden staircase leads to the second floor with a master bedroom, a bathroom, and a study. The delicate architecture of the space makes the apartment open, airy, and light.
The design does not distract, but on the contrary — gives complete freedom to do in the house what you want.
Due to the panoramic windows and spacious rooms, the apartment is filled with daylight during the day and starry sky at night.
The designer ceramic lamps created by hand in the Makhno Product ceramic workshop are responsible for artificial lighting: tiny MUG lamps in the office, classic LAKUNAs in the bedroom, and massive NIGHTERs in the lounge area.
The interior colour scheme is based on earth. Shades with a taste of chernozem are read everywhere: from light grey decorative plaster on the walls to a dazzling black bed in the bedroom.
Furniture and decor balance the dark background with warm accents and fill the apartment with comfort.
The guest bedroom has a view of the Dnipro river. Its shores are so close that it seems like the sapphire waters have spilt over the walls of the apartment — thanks to the naturally oxidized metal right behind the bed.
