Location

Kyiv,

Area

200 м2

Year

2016

The interior is created in warm tones of wood and natural fabrics. We chose to adorn the walls with decorative plaster. A special place in this space is reserved for special details: antique doors, lighting fixtures, decorative tableware, and small figurines. They are objects of pride as the owner carefully collected them from different parts of the world.

The premises were rented, so we couldn’t make radical replanning. Our client Olena had a sense of how the design should be, but only partially. Our task was to create a connected picture, based on her preferences and needs.

At 200 sq.m. we combined Mexico, Bali, Thailand, and India. The spa is designed for the small number of visitors. There is a big space for three, a smaller one for two and four personalized massage rooms.

Zen mood

In Thailand (the place that inspired us the most), the locals have a special reverence for welcoming guests, and at ORIENTAL OKO SPA, every person who crosses the threshold of the spa center becomes a royal figure. The design of the space also aimed to emphasize this concept: the balance of lines, materials, and textures that fill the rooms exudes a sense of tranquility and Zen. You'll feel like you're on an exotic island, where you can completely unwind while genuine Thai masters provide you with a massage.

HARMONY

Harmony in the details: from decorative branches on the walls and coconut-shaped flower pots to rattan cream-colored sofas. The relaxation area with hammocks has become a place where waiting for a massage becomes an incredible pleasure. From the previous owners, the walls retained ethnic patterns - they were so unique that we decided to preserve them in our design.
